In a year there will be three semesters, each semester spanning 4 months. There will be a period of 12 weeks of class room instruction per semester.

The course in which a student has obtained D or higher grade will be counted as credit earned by the student. A student who obtains a F grade in any core course will have to repeat the course. If a student obtains a F grade in an optional course, he/she may choose to repeat the course or take a substitute course if available. F grades will not be counted for CGPA calculations but will stay on the Grade Sheet and Transcript.

A student under normal workload will have 9-12 credit hours per semester for undergraduate programs and 9 credit hours for Master's programs. If a student desires of having registration for three semesters every year, about four years will be required to complete a Bachelor's degree. For completion of a Master's degree, 3-6 semesters will be required supposing that a normal work load is taken.

The evaluation will be based on final examination, assignments, mid-term and class tests and class attendance. Classroom evaluation including class tests, mid-term and assignments will cover 50% of total marks and the remaining 50% are reserved for the final examination. The distribution of marks is as follows:
