The university contains a core full-time faculty, which conduct all the academic activities and maintain the stability and improvement of the quality of the programs offered. The part-time faculty complements the full-time faculty. The resources of the faculty are deployed in accordance with the university’s main mission and the programs offered. The university endeavors to build up a highly qualified faculty through efficient planning and policy efforts.

The academic and professional qualifications of the members of the faculty are such as to accomplish the teaching and other related activities in the most proficient manner. The minimum qualification for a position in the faculty is a master’s degree together with a bachelor’s degree with honors in the relevant field. For Ph.D. programs, the faculty possess higher qualification such as Ph.D. in the respective area.

The faculty of the university is to a large extent responsible for the following:

	Innovation in instructions
	Assessing the instructional effectiveness, and students' achievements
	Improvement of the programs
	Making amendments in instructional process

The members of the faculty are individually responsible for the following:

	Competence in their instructions
	Effectiveness in their instructions
	Availability to the students for assistance outside class
	Developing and improving the lecture outlines and assessment of the students including award of final grades

Faculty members are encouraged to make intellectual contributions on a continuing basis appropriate to the university’s mission. The outputs from intellectual contributions are meant for public scrutiny by academic peers or practitioners. Research and publication in reputable, refereed journals are strongly encouraged.
