Campus
based instructional mode follows the usual practice
of class-room lecturers, tests, practical exercises,
assignments and exams in line with a full credit
hour semester system. In this context, a reasonable
emphasis is given on attendance in class in time,
participation in the class lectures and lab work,
participation in practical work at field level,
completing assignments in time and appearing in the
class tests/exams.

The
VUB system of education provides for a major
area of concentration for a Bachelor’s degree.
Where multiple concentrations are available, the VUB
provides for an opportunity to the students for
Double Majors, without any extra credits hours
requirement, subject to the approval of the Course
Coordinator, on a case by case basis.
The
VUB also provides opportunities for enrolling
students in undergraduate program for conjoint or
double degrees, subject to the approval of Course
Coordinator. Under this program, a student at
undergraduate level can work for two separate
degrees simultaneously, say one in Bachelor of
Business Administration (Honors) and the other in
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and
Information Technology (Honors). Under this system,
a student will complete all the core courses for
both the degrees but will get waivers for the common
courses and a number of general education or other
courses, subject to the approval of the VUB
authorities on a case by case basis. A double
undergraduate program will thus require a student to
complete more courses than what is normally required
for a single undergraduate program, but much fewer
than what is required for two separate degrees.
